Terms of Service

Effective date: May 23, 2026. These Terms govern your use of RoastSong, including the iOS app, generated songs, share pages, and related services.

1. Acceptance

By using RoastSong, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. What RoastSong Does

RoastSong lets users submit a photo and optional context to create playful AI-generated songs. The service is intended for jokes between people who can reasonably consent to being teased.

3. User Content

You are responsible for photos, names, prompts, context, and other content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload that content and to create a generated song from it.

  • Do not upload private, intimate, illegal, or exploitative content.
  • Do not upload photos of minors without appropriate permission.
  • Do not use RoastSong to harass, threaten, shame, defame, or target protected classes.

4. Generated Output

Generated lyrics and audio may be inaccurate, unexpected, or imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing output before sharing it. We may refuse, remove, or limit content that violates these Terms or creates risk for users or others.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse RoastSong, interfere with the service, bypass limits, reverse engineer protected systems, scrape the service, or use generated content for unlawful activity.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

If RoastSong offers paid plans, purchases are handled through Apple App Store billing unless otherwise stated. Subscription pricing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and trial terms are controlled by Apple and the terms shown at purchase time.

7. Intellectual Property

RoastSong, its app design, brand, software, and original assets are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights you have in content you submit, subject to the license needed for us to operate the service and generate output.

8. Service Changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of RoastSong. We may also update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers

RoastSong is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that generated songs will meet your expectations, be error-free, or be available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoastSong will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or content.
